Judge Pavel Dolenc was born on 11 January 1942. He began his career as an Assistant and then Deputy Municipal Prosecutor of Koper. From 1979 to 1981 he served as Head in the Basic Public Prosecutor’s office in Koper before becoming Deputy Senior Prosecutor in Ljubljana. He later worked as Head of the Higher Public Prosecutor’s office, and then became Supreme Court Judge in the Criminal Department of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Slovenia in 1997. Judge Dolenc has participated in several international conferences with contributions on the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia. He graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Ljubljana in Criminal Law.
